Epaderm Emollient can also be used as a soap substitute to prevent drying of the skin, or as a moisturising bath additive, or as a normal moisturiser. It works by creating a layer of oil on the surface of the skin and preventing water evaporation from the surface of the skin to help treat eczema, psoriasis, and other dry conditions.
Epaderm Emollient is made from a mixture of yellow soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, and emulsifying wax that produces a greasy layer on the skin to give intense moisturization and prevent your skin from drying out.

I have suffered with ichthyosis vulgaris all my life I am aged 59. I have tried everything you can possibly imagine trying to rid myself of this horrible and embarrasing skin condition. I only discovered Epaderm 2 months ago and noticed a difference after a week and now 2 months later Im a different man with smooth skin. Why wasnt this prescribed to me years ago?

For the price you can get this for, it is ideal to have one around the house for those moments when your other creams have run out or you feel you need to try something else.It does an OK job, not a cure for eczema by any means but for results/price ratio is very good. Our other creams/emollients are so expensive that we use this now and again without worrying about cost due to the price. We refill little tubs to carry around as well. I believe this product works better in the bath.
