Lamisil is used to treat fungal infections of the skin caused by fungus (dermatophytes or tinea), tinea of the feet is commonly known as athlete’s foot. Lamisil Once is a new product for the treatment of Athlete’s Foot. It combines the fungicidal action of terbinafine with a breakthrough delivery system – a film which delivers the active ingredient immediately and progressively from just one application.
Lamisil cures most athlete's foot (tinea pedis) as well as jock itch (tinea cruris) and ringworm (tinea corporis) while relieving the itching, burning, cracking and scaling which accompany these conditions. Lamisil contains Terbinafine hydrochloride 1% as the active ingredient.
Lamisil AT 1% Cream contains a fungicide ingredient: terbinafine, and which treats Athlete’s Foot with seven daily applications on average. It’s therefore shorter than most 'anti-fungal treatments', which simply arrest the development of the fungus and can take up to four weeks to get rid of the condition.
Lamisil Once is effective and more convenient. It only needs one application.
