Plantur 39 Phyto-Caffeine Tonic was created for women who wish to reduce hair loss, but either don’t want to wash their hair every day, or need to use a different shampoo than Plantur 39 Phyto-Caffeine shampoos.
Plantur 39 Caffeine Tonic prevents hair growth from weakening after menopause. It contains caffeine, which actively blocks testosterone from weakening the hair roots. It also contains the vitamin Niacin and zinc salts to strengthen hair growth. Furthermore, it contains bio-active ingredients, successfully used for hormone replacement therapy in menopausal women.
Once applied, the Phyto-Caffeine Tonic penetrates the hair follicle where it forms an active ingredient depot that provides protection for up to 24 hours.
Why is hair affected?
Hair loss can be a distressing time for some. Its frequently due to decreasing oestrogen levels which previously protected women's hair roots against the male hormone testosterone. During menopause, the level of oestrogen decreases, and the impact of the male hormones increases. This change can have unexpected side effects: Women's hair becomes thinner, falls out prematurely, the scalp becomes visible and the hairline recedes. This can often cause a decline in confidence for women. But for many affected women, there is hope.
In collaboration with the dermatological institute of the University Clinic Jena, Dr. Wolff -Research has discovered properties of caffeine, which could help reduce this type of hair loss.
The Dr. Wolff laboratories developed a Phyto-Caffeine Complex that helps to reduce hair loss in women during menopause. It contains caffeine, zinc and niacin as well as an active ingredient combination composed of phytoflavonoids derived from white tea or the soy plant.
Directions:
Using the dosage tip, apply directly on to the scalp and massage in. Let it dry, brush hair and continue to style as normal. Do not rinse out.

Having had problems with shedding hair for the last few years and trying many other products that don't seem to be very effective, I've decided to try Plantur 39 after reading the positive reviews. When I wash my hair I use the Plantur 39 shampoo and every day I use the scalp tonic. It's probably a little too early to tell how it's working at the moment, but I'm looking forward to seeing the results.
