Product details

Fortisip Compact Chocolate is a high energy, milkshake-type drink, designed to manage disease-related malnutrition. It can be used as the sole source of nutrition or as a dietary supplement for patients unable to meet their nutritional requirements through other food.

Fortisip Compact is available in 125ml plastic bottles, in a range of flavours, with a flexible straw attached.

When it helps?

Fortisip Compact Chocolate can be safely used for the following conditions:

Short bowel syndrome
Intractable malabsorption
Pre-operative preparation of an undernourished patient
Inflammatory bowel disease
Total gastrectomy
Dysphagia
Disease-related malnutrition

Warnings / Side effects

Fortisip Feeding Supplement Compact Chocolate Warnings:

Not for intravenous use.

Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.

Fortisip Feeding Supplement Compact Chocolate Precautions:

Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition in children under 6 years of age. Monitor fluid intake to ensure adequate hydration status.

Usage / Instructions

Fortisip Feeding Supplement Compact Chocolate Directions:

Fortisip Compact is best served chilled.

Shake well before opening.

Store in a dry, cool place (5-25C).

Once opened store bottles in a refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours.

See the side of bottle for best before date.

Ingredients

Water, glucose syrup, milk proteins, vegetable oils, tri potassium citrate, emulsifier (soy lecithin), flavour (vanilla), magnesium hydrogen phosphate, choline chloride, potassium chloride, acidity regulator (citric acid), tri sodium citrate, sodium L-ascorbate, ferrous lactate, zinc sulphate, nicotinamide, DL-a-tocopheryl acetate, colouring (curcumin), retinyl acetate, copper gluconate, sodium selenite, manganese sulphate, chromium chloride, calcium D-pantothenate, D-biotin, cholecalciferol, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, thiamin hydrochloride, pyridoxine hydrochloride, sodium molybdate, sodium fluoride, riboflavin, phytomenadione, potassium iodide, cyanocobalamin.
